Protection on All Levels
Take a minute to think about the ways in which you protect the people in your life. Maybe you lock your doors nightly, or even installed a security system to protect your home from intruders. Perhaps you bought a safer car to ensure that your loved ones will be protected from potential dangers on the road. While you may have tended to some important dangers, have you ever thought about protecting your family from germs? While germs may take the backseat to more visual threats, the harmful consequences of neglecting household cleaning should not be overlooked.

The Dangers You Aren’t Seeing
Imagine if everyone’s hands were constantly covered with wet paint. Examining a theoretical morning, you wake up with your paint covered hands, flick the light switch, open a drawer, turn your doorknob, twist the shower knob, open the fridge, grasp the sink handle, open the dishwasher, all finally ending with closing the door on your way out. Now let’s go back and take a look at the damage. In this abbreviated morning ritual, assuming you had wet paint on your hands the whole time, you left quite a disturbing mess, and that is just in the morning.

This paint filled example is how germs spread. However, in your typical day you wouldn’t have paint on your hands to remind you that everything you touch transmits germs and bacteria. Keeping in mind the other people who live in your house, would you ideally want them to come in contact with all the germs you left on various objects? Unfortunately, in addition to touching your germs, they leave their own germy trail behind. Now imagine a full day of germ transfer in your home, not just from touching things in your own home, but the germs you accumulate all day wherever you may have gone. Try to multiply those germs and by a week, or even a month before the surfaces are disinfected. By then you would you have yourself one germ-filled disaster.

What Can These Germs Really Do?

So you have a mess of germs contaminating your home, now you may be wondering what kind of harm they can bring to you and your family. Here are just a few examples of diseases and health issues that can be transmitted through the spread of germs and bacteria:

  • Common Cold
  • Influenza
  • Strep throat
  • Tuberculosis
  • Measles

The dangers of spreading germs and bacteria can go on for days, and we haven’t even touched upon the health effects of dust inhalation or the hazards of dirty floors. Rather than spending time seeing the health effects of these problems, it is more important to spend time trying to prevent such ailments.

Finding the Time to Fight Germs
Unfortunately for most people, they simply don’t have the time to properly clean their homes. Between all of the other tasks in a typical day, germ fighting is easy to keep pushing aside, not realizing the negative effects it could create. If you find yourself without enough time or energy for cleaning, we would be happy to handle the dirty work for you. With GREAT WHITE CLEANING, you can rest assured that we will do everything we can to protect you and your family from the dangers a dirty home can bring.
