Have no fear, by simply using white distilled vinegar, a common household product, you can make your kitchen sparkle in no time! Here are some areas where you can use this wonderfully disguised cleaning product:

  • Microwave: By simply putting ½ cup of white vinegar and ½ cup of water in a microwavable bowl and heating it in the microwave until it boils for a few minutes. This will loosen any dried food from the walls, allowing for easy cleaning.
  • Refrigerator: By creating a solution with half water and half vinegar, you can clean the shelves and walls of your fridge, a common place for spilled food to build-up.
  • Garbage Disposal: Remove any unpleasant garbage smells by combining ½ cup of hot vinegar and ½ cup of baking soda and pouring it in the disposal. After letting it sit for about 5 minutes, rinse with hot water.
  • Dishwasher: In a similar process to removing odors from the garbage disposal, pour a cup of vinegar in your dishwasher while empty and run it through a cycle. Doing this on a monthly basis can keep odors at bay.
